Pay Rate $105,000 - $115,000 per year

Work Schedule Hybrid schedule - 3 days in office in Cincinnati, OH, and 2 days working from home each week.

Position Summary The Application Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting web and client-side applications that enable Fechheimer's manufacturing and e-commerce strategies. This role ensures high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives and supports Fechheimer's commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and integrity in delivering technology solutions.

Responsibilities In this role you will be required to...

Development & Implementation

Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using C#, .NET, and WPF.

Analyze and perform all or part of the software development life cycle.

Build and maintain backend business logic, database access (SQL/stored procedures), and system interfaces.

Create, develop and support Internet-oriented server applications and client/server applications.

Write high-quality, efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.

Maintenance & Optimization

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

Continuously test applications to identify and resolve bugs and other errors, ensuring optimal performance.

Maintain existing applications and software, implementing updates and enhancements to address any post deployment issues.

Collaboration & Documentation

Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.

Communicate clearly and regularly with management and clients regarding project status.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

Lead software development projects as assigned.

Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in application development.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficient in Object-Oriented principles and design patterns.

Strong knowledge of HTML, web technologies, and Microsoft IIS hosting environment.

Knowledge and experience with SQL, including stored procedures, views, and scripting.

Knowledge and experience with .NET architecture and programming standards.

Skilled in web service coding and web-based application development.

Familiarity with WPF for client/server-based applications.

Sufficient business experience to translate a client's requirements into meaningful business requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and relationship management skills.

Physical Requirements
