Scale Marketing is expanding our
Programmatic Trading
team! We’re looking for a
Programmatic Trader
who’s passionate about optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance, and delivering measurable results. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of buying, analysis, and strategy, working closely with leadership, client services, data analytics, and operations teams.
Location:
Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days/week in office)
Base pay range:
$70,000 – $75,000 per year
What You’ll Do
Monitor and optimize programmatic and social media campaigns to meet and exceed KPIs.
Manage daily bidding, buying, and pacing across DSPs and social platforms.
Create, execute, and report on campaigns using internal and third‑party tools.
Deliver regular performance reporting and actionable insights (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on pre‑campaign analysis, post‑campaign insights, troubleshooting, and ad operations.
Leverage large datasets in Excel and BI tools for performance analysis and strategy refinement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with DSPs (Viant, StackAdapt, The Trade Desk) and social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) required.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills—comfortable working with large datasets.
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with BI tools.
Attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and a start‑up mindset.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
