The Senior Director, Strategic Projects is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic execution, commercial transformation, and operational alignment across North America. As a key member of the commercial leadership team, you partner directly with the SVP/GM to lead enterprise initiatives, optimize business performance, and accelerate decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic acumen, operational rigor, and cross‑functional leadership to deliver measurable outcomes across commercial, service, and financial domains.

This position reports to the SVP/GM North America Commercial Operations and is part of the North America Commercial Leadership Team. It is a fully remote role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Strategic Planning & Commercial Alignment Lead the development and execution of long‑range strategic plans, annual operating plans (AOP), and quarterly business reviews. Ensure cross‑functional alignment across sales, service, marketing, and finance to translate strategic priorities into executable initiatives with clear KPIs and accountability.

Executive Advisory & Operating Cadence Leadership Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the SVP/GM, enabling high‑quality decision‑making through synthesis of complex issues, executive briefings, and scenario planning. Architect and manage the operating rhythm for the leadership team, including monthly Operating Business Reviews and quarterly strategic reviews.

Pricing & Profitability Optimization Lead the North America Pricing and Profitability program, identifying $5M–$10M in incremental margin opportunities each year. Establish workstreams and targets in partnership with finance and commercial teams, lead weekly performance reviews, and ensure implementation of countermeasures to achieve financial goals.

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate across the commercial leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, resolve cross‑functional challenges, and ensure alignment on business priorities. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance, and Client Services to deliver integrated solutions that enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

20+ years of experience in strategic operations, commercial transformation, or Chief of Staff roles, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.

Proven success leading enterprise‑level initiatives and driving measurable business impact in complex, matrixed environments.

Deep understanding of commercial strategy, pricing, contracting, and operational execution.

Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and program management capabilities; proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

~25% Travel

The annual salary range for this role is $200,000–$260,000. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
