Engineering Ports & Maritime Project Manager – Coral Gables, FL (Hybrid in‑person / remote). This role reports to the Project Management Discipline Leader and leads and facilitates ports & maritime engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams across the region.

What You Will Do

Lead and facilitate the overall cross‑functional project team.

Oversee the quality of deliverables prepared by team members, including construction plans, design calculations, technical reports, and project deliverables.

Resolve issues impacting project objectives.

Lead or support the team in scope and budget/pricing development for proposals and dynamic project planning.

Review complete projects for quality and conformity and approve the work performed by other engineers.

Apply theoretical principles in marine structural and geotechnical engineering independently.

Support client relationships and business development to achieve the strategic business plan.

Act as the key internal contact for communication.

Identify plan vs. actual performance variances.

Promote Bermello Ajamil & Woolpert as industry leaders and promote services to new and existing clients.

Collaborate with Market Leads on negotiation of project schedule, fee, scope, and contract terms for complex multidisciplinary projects.

Identify and resolve any project issues impacting client goals, objectives, and satisfaction.

Define and communicate client needs and expectations.

Ensure continuous stakeholder communication, addressing, resolving, and anticipating project issues.

What You Will Bring

Experience leading Ports & Maritime engineering projects.

Active professional registration (preferred).

Minimum of 10 years related industry experience.

Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to facilitate technical discussions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, REVIT, SAP2000, L‑Pile, or equivalent engineering software.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to negotiate, influence, and manage risk.

Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

In‑depth knowledge of structural and geotechnical engineering principles for waterfront infrastructure.

Analytical decision‑making based on project information and data synthesis.

Willingness to travel up to 20% for local, regional, and national clients and projects.

Earnings Base pay offered may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay range:

$118,200 – $177,400 USD
