Treasury Analyst
Yoh has an exciting, contract‑to‑hire opportunity for a
Treasury Analyst
supporting a leading advanced technology organization with operations in San Diego, CA. This role will support day‑to‑day treasury and cash accounting activities with a focus on high‑volume transactional execution, bank activity recording, reconciliations, and cash monitoring across multiple U.S. banking partners. The ideal candidate brings foundational treasury or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the drive to proactively identify issues, investigate discrepancies, and elevate concerns when appropriate.
Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid; 3 days in‑office/week)
Type: Contract, potential to convert FTE
Compensation: $40 - $45/hr; flexible, depends on experience
Industry: Advanced Technology / Defense
Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of this client’s environment and requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens (ITAR/CUI restrictions)
Responsibilities
Record all daily cash inflows and outflows across multiple U.S. bank accounts (six banking partners).
Execute high-volume transactional processing with accuracy and timeliness.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations within internal financial systems.
Research and resolve variances, escalating issues requiring leadership attention.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries related to treasury and cash movements.
Support short‑term cash positioning, liquidity tracking, and internal treasury reporting.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and documentation requirements.
Partner closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment of cash activity and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in treasury, cash accounting, corporate finance, or a related transactional finance role.
Strong understanding of cash accounting, bank transactions, and reconciliation processes.
High level of accuracy, organization, and comfort managing large transaction volumes.
Strong problem‑solving abilities with a willingness to dive into details and identify discrepancies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting/ERP systems.
Ability to operate with urgency, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
High degree of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Preferred Education & Experience Guidelines
Experience working with multiple U.S. banking institutions.
Exposure to treasury systems, cash management tools, portals, or ERP financial modules.
