Capital Markets Research Analyst

Newmark . Newmark is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking Research Analyst to support the firm's national Capital Markets business. The role will be ideally based in Boston, but is not required. The analyst will partner closely and report directly to the Head of Commercial Capital Markets Research. Responsibilities include producing quarterly reports, formulating data‑driven insights, assisting with day‑to‑day requests, and other research initiatives. Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Commercial Capital Markets Research to provide best‑in‑class research services to Newmark’s national Capital Markets platform. Maintain, improve, and grow automated data processing systems leveraging SQL and Pyspark. Assist in quarterly “House View” research report production. Leverage third‑party data to provide high‑level market analysis. Fulfill day‑to‑day research requests from top investment sales and debt producers, and valued clients. Prepare slides for client presentations and pitches. Generate materials for industry‑leading investment sales and debt teams. Assist in building proprietary capital markets databases that leverage internal data. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or Business Administration. Strong communication and analytical skills, ability to create concise content. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel and PowerPoint required; PowerBI skills a plus. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize workload. Familiarity with Real Capital Analytics, Costar, Green Street, Trepp and NCREIF a plus. General understanding of commercial real estate equity and debt markets a plus. Seniority level
