MRI Technologist – RadNet
Responsible for performing high quality MRI exams in a team‑focused environment. Works with patients to ensure safety, comfort and optimal imaging results.
Responsibilities Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients, assure patient safety, administer contrast, adjust imaging parameters, guide patients through the process, respond to physician requests, safeguard patient information and site policies, demonstrate professionalism and respect for patients and coworkers.
You Will
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
Guide patients through the process, answering questions and concerns.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Safeguard patient property, PHI and medications per policies and legal requirements.
Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public.
Establish, nurture and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care with sound judgment and professionalism.
Skilled in effective communication, interpersonal skills and respect toward patients, guests & colleagues.
Adaptable in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing work with a structured approach while enjoying solving complex problems.
Qualifications
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
BLS certification.
Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
