Receptionist

As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our facility by acting as the first point of contact for all residents, families, and visitors. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism
• Managing phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
• Receiving inquiries and releasing information in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Coordinating appointments, meetings, and resident activities
• Receiving newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents

Qualifications of a receptionist include:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
• Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications
• Empathy and understanding towards the needs of residents and their families
