About our team
The ad serving team within Sponsored Products and Brands powers a low-latency, high-scale ad serving workflow for two of Amazon’s largest Advertising products -- Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. The ad server orchestrates the workflows for processing and rendering product and brand ads on Amazon pages. A single second on the ad server can involve processing hundreds of millions of ads, running multiple machine learning models to determine relevance and conversion rates per ad, and processing terabytes of cached data. This team balances platform scale with business requirements so that every change contributes to business growth. Our engineering team leverages AI-powered development tools throughout the software lifecycle, including GenAI tooling and intelligent code analysis to accelerate development while maintaining quality. We work with technologies such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, ElasticCache, S3, Kafka, and more to power the platform, along with state management and memory optimization to accelerate ad search results. We design for redundancy, high availability, and massive scale to support advertisers worldwide and help them reach new markets and build a strong brand presence 24/7 across 20+ countries. We are looking for exceptional software engineers to build the next generation of tools advertisers depend on to manage their advertising across multiple products in the Amazon Advertising portfolio.
