The Mayors Office of Administrative Services is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Mayors Office and agencies under City Hall. Our priorities include, but are not limited to, space management, office seating, custodial needs, supply requests, records management, and mailroom and messenger service. Our goal is to ensure offices operate efficiently and effectively throughout the Mayors Office campuses./ppThe Problems Youll Solve:/pulliHandling phone calls, emails, and drafting professional correspondence./liliManaging multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining organized records./liliEnsuring accurate labeling, sorting, and delivering mail./liliTracking packages using FedEx and UPS./liliWriting service tickets as well as keeping track of them./liliHandling and distributing MTA MetroCards./liliWriting property removal passes./liliHandling issues related to mail delivery or processing./liliAbility to meet deadlines and handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries./li/ulpAbout You:/pulliYou have the ability to provide helpful and professional service to recipients./liliYou have the willingness to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing needs./liliYou have a strong customer service orientation and ability to interact positively with diverse individuals, which are crucial./liliYou have multitasking, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, which are also important./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliThree Years of experience in community work or community-centered activities./li/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulliYou have excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and recipients./liliYou are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other relevant office software is essential./liliYou have basic computer skills for data entry, tracking, and using relevant software./liliYou have to maintain the privacy and security of sensitive information./li/ulpPublic Service Loan Forgiveness:/ppAs a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
