Role Description The
Software Architect II
position involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams, defines architectural standards, and ensures alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain software architecture for complex applications and systems.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve system performance and maintainability.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
Participate in technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Mentor junior architects and developers.
Qualifications
Strong experience in software architecture design, including microservices, cloud‑native applications, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar.
Proficiency in TypeScript and hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Compensation Range: $106,000 – $159,000.
Role Location Remote.
Benefits Full‑time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and eligibility for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Eligible for the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
