The LIHTC Asset Management & Acquisitions Manager/Director will oversee asset management and acquisitions within the property industry, ensuring compliance and maximizing portfolio performance. This position is based in New York and requires a strong understanding of LIHTC and property management.
Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
Description
Oversee the management of LIHTC assets to ensure compliance and performance optimization.
Lead acquisition efforts, including deal structuring and financial analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate property management and development strategies.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations within the property industry.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members within the asset management and acquisitions department.
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Profile
Strong knowledge of LIHTC and property management principles.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders.
A results-driven mindset and attention to detail.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance within the property industry.
A degree in a related field such as finance, real estate, or business administration.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or related field
2-5+ years of experience in affordable housing or real estate
Strong, hands‑on LIHTC experience required
Solid financial and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and basic financial modeling
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and self‑motivated
