About the Role The Director of Membership will be the strategic architect and ambassador of the club’s member community—responsible for designing and executing the end-to-end membership strategy from pre‑opening through launch and long‑term engagement. This highly visible executive role shapes the club's social fabric and will be critical to establishing its legacy from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the full membership launch plan, including tiered strategies aligned with initiation fees ranging from $15,000 to $80,000+
Attract high‑net‑worth individuals, industry leaders, tastemakers, and cultural influencers
Implement exclusive referral and invitation‑only pathways to maintain brand positioning and privacy
Establish and monitor membership growth targets in alignment with ownership vision
Member Engagement & Retention
Build an exceptional member journey including onboarding, lifestyle programming, and renewal strategies
Conceptualize curated events, partnership activations, and bespoke experiences that reinforce community and exclusivity
Track retention metrics and drive continuous improvement in member satisfaction
Brand & Executive Leadership
Serve as the face of the membership experience, representing the legacy of an iconic luxury brand
Build strategic relationships across residential owners, local influencers, luxury partners, and global clientele
Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, F&B, spa/wellness, and events to ensure seamless member integration across every touchpoint
Lead and inspire a membership‑focused team committed to excellence
Ideal Candidate Profile
7+ years in senior membership leadership roles within luxury private clubs, 5‑star hospitality, elite social clubs, or luxury lifestyle brands
Proven experience cultivating high‑net‑worth memberships, generating revenue through dues and initiation fees, and executing exclusive engagement strategies
Deep understanding of South Florida’s ultra‑luxury market
Elevated executive presence with refined communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Experience working with residential membership models strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or luxury brand credentials advantageous
Base Salary:
$150,000.00 to $170,000.00 (commensurate with experience)
Incentive Program:
Percentage‑based bonus tied to initiation fees and membership targets
