Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and strategic

Product Lead

to own the vision, roadmap, and execution of key initiatives that shape the future of Checkmate. You’ll lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, designers, and analysts to deliver world‑class product experiences that delight users and drive business impact. As a Product Lead, you will play a critical role in defining Checkmate’s product direction — balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility and combining strong product intuition with data‑driven decision‑making to build the next generation of shopping experiences for millions of users.

Responsibilities

Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core area of Checkmate’s platform.

Drive end‑to‑end product development — from ideation and prioritization to launch, iteration, and growth.

Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and leadership to align on goals and deliver results.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, measure success, and inform decisions.

Lead cross‑functional teams with clear communication, structure, and accountability.

Advocate for users at every step of the process while balancing company priorities.

Establish KPIs and success metrics for product initiatives, and iterate based on performance.

Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and rapid learning.

Requirements

4+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading a product area or team.

Extensive experience in e‑commerce, working with brands, tools that increase and drive revenue/retention/upselling is mandatory. Adtech a plus.

Proven success building and scaling consumer products or marketplaces with millions of users.

Strong ability to translate business and user insights into actionable product strategy.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Deep understanding of user research, data analysis, and A/B testing methodologies.

Experience with agile product development and working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.

Passion for great design and user experience.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with growth loops, engagement funnels, and retention strategies.

Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.

Experience mentoring and developing product managers.
