Project Manager – Salesforce Lead
Location Chicago, IL
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager – Salesforce Lead to lead Salesforce development initiatives. This onsite role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in Salesforce, and the ability to deliver actionable insights through Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate will manage cross‑functional teams, drive project execution, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects.
Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
Coordinate with business analysts, developers, testers, and data teams.
Ensure project delivery aligns with business requirements and quality standards.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.
Salesforce Leadership
Architect and oversee development of custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and APIs.
Guide integration efforts between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and governance.
Mentor and support Salesforce developers and administrators.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of experience in Salesforce development and project management.
Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
3+ years of experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams and delivering complex projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, PMP).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehousing concepts.
