What you will do
Plan, monitor, and manage all aspects of multiple, large‑scale building and site development projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure by internal process methodologies. Ensure completion according to project plan (scope, schedule, and budget).
Develop and present comprehensive project plan to sponsors and management; obtain all necessary approvals.
Lead or manage project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting.
Monitor performance of contractors and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions.
Oversee schedules and direct team resources, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, or resources.
Ensure project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project teams, business management, and sponsors.
Promote safety by implementing applicable safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Review project proposal or plan to fully understand scope, contract, timeline, funding, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
Build and sustain relationships with clients and contractors, both on the job and through networking.
Confere with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, and responsibilities.
Take responsibility for contract management from initial conversations through final closeout; serve as point of contact for contractual matters.
Lead site leadership to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
Prepare, present, and review project reports for management, clients, or others.
Resolve problems, provide recommendations, and Escalate as appropriate.
Manage the RFP process; create and develop bid proposals.
Manage the RFI, ASI, and IDC processes; assess, workflow, and execute.
Generate project status reports, budget reports, and other management information as requested.
Read, understand, and comment on construction documents and contract specifications.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, construction, or related discipline.
Required:
Equivalent proficiency.
Required:
Five to seven years of professional experience in construction, development, or engineering with understanding of project management, development processes, and budgeting.
Required:
Four to six years of management experience.
Required:
Experience in planning and construction of large‑scale building, residential development, and major sitework projects.
Required:
Experience in estimating and preparation of change orders, preferably in conceptual estimating.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Must be a self‑starter with ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Candidate expected to present confidently to management and third parties.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
Self‑motivated team player who pays close attention to detail and can prioritize in a fast‑moving environment.
Effectively envision, develop, and implement processes to advance and manage business goals.
Take initiative to identify and anticipate company needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Compensation We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $99,800 - $130,900, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. We also offer a generous total compensation and benefits package.
