Essential Functions
Recruit, interview, hire, and train qualified sales professionals to ensure a high‑performing and engaged team.
Facilitate education for sales teams and referral sources regarding Medicare guidelines and related regulatory standards.
Develop and implement sales strategies for each Area Sales Director under their leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee territory development and the execution of sales strategies to maximize growth opportunities.
Monitor sales activity to ensure appropriate focus on target accounts, referral programs, and market priorities.
Coach, mentor, and guide Area Sales Directors and Clinical Area Sales Directors to perform at their highest potential through ongoing feedback and development.
Communicate regularly (at minimum weekly) with the Vice President of Sales to discuss market strategy, pipeline health, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with branch management and operations leaders to ensure effective coordination in achieving shared revenue and growth objectives.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing sales and referral practices, including Stark Law, Anti‑Kickback Statute, and company policies.
Maintain current knowledge of Agency policies and procedures, and ensure adherence by all supervised staff.
Participate in in‑service education and ongoing professional development to maintain leadership effectiveness and regulatory knowledge.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive sales leadership experience within home health, hospice, or healthcare services required.
Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and leading high‑performing teams across multi‑site or multi‑state territories.
Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, compliance requirements, and referral source management.
Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including operations, finance, and clinical leadership.
