Job Description About the Role
We are seeking a battle‑tested Senior Software Engineer to drive technical excellence within our engineering team. You won't just be picking up tickets; you will be defining the architecture that powers our product.
In this role, you will tackle complex challenges related to
scalability ,
concurrency , and
system design . You will act as a force multiplier—writing core libraries, reviewing architectural decisions, and elevating the code quality of the entire team.
What You Will Do
System Architecture:
Design and implement high‑availability, low‑latency applications for mission‑critical systems.
Code Leadership:
Champion clean code principles (SOLID, DRY) and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards.
Scalability:
Optimize database queries, caching strategies (Redis/Memcached), and microservices communication to handle massive loads.
Mentorship:
Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
DevOps Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Requirements What We Are Looking For
Experience:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Technical Depth:
Expert‑level command of at least one backend language (Java, Go, Python, or C#) and its ecosystem.
Architecture:
Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
Database Mastery:
Deep understanding of database internals, indexing, and schema design (SQL & NoSQL).
Cloud Native:
Hands‑on experience building and deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Tech Stack (Keywords) Salary Range: $60,000 – $220,000 USD / year (Commensurate with location and experience)
