Role Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Growth Marketing Manager to lead paid media strategy, execution, and measurement across performance channels for our Ecommerce business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Digital Marketing and partnering closely with cross‑functional teams, this role drives REEF.com revenue and profitability through full‑funnel, cross‑channel strategies grounded in strong analytics and hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment. This is a full‑time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule: 3 days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and 2 days Remote.
Role Responsibilities
Translate business priorities, performance forecasts, and brand objectives into actionable media plans across paid social, search, audio, display, and video.
Plan the customer journey with consideration for channel activations, merchandising priorities, and site funnels that drive conversion.
Partner with Brand Marketing to ensure campaign consistency from awareness through conversion and co‑author integrated media plans.
Collaborate on creative strategy and brief development to ensure assets meet media plan requirements and performance goals.
Media Measurement and Marketing Analytics
Use multi‑touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing to inform media investment decisions and KPI targets.
Ensure accurate digital data collection, tracking, and analytics conventions across platforms.
Develop reporting and visualizations that surface real‑time results, enable quick decision making, and identify trends.
Coordinate the design, execution, documentation, and analysis of channel testing to optimize campaign effectiveness.
Partner Management and Execution
Build strong relationships with agency and platform partners to drive efficiency, accountability, and innovation.
Develop and manage daily budget plans with accountability for forecasting, pacing, and performance.
Oversee campaign execution and ongoing performance optimization.
Adopt and improve existing systems that support go‑to‑market planning, collaboration, and on‑time delivery.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5 or more years of performance marketing experience at a high‑growth DTC or ecommerce brand, preferably in retail.
Hands‑on experience with at least two ad platforms such as Meta or Google, with the ability to review account setup, identify issues, and resolve errors.
Proven ability to lead agency partners, communicate clearly with peers and leadership, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Strong understanding of digital marketing performance KPIs and the levers that influence results.
Experience with marketing measurement approaches including multi‑touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing.
Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes that enhance team coordination and efficiency.
Ability to forecast and work backward from KPIs to set goals, measurement plans, and optimization strategies.
Highly analytical with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment while staying organized.
Able to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution and move quickly when needed.
Familiarity with marketing technology, including QA and data tracking for paid performance marketing.
Understanding of product feed data and its use in dynamic marketing.
Strong understanding of marketing ecosystems and how channels work together.
Strong reporting skills with the ability to tailor insights for different audiences.
Familiarity with Northbeam Analytics, Monday.com, DOMO, and Shopify is a plus.
Experience in both ecommerce and Amazon marketplaces is a plus.
While performing the duties of this position, the associate works in an office environment and must adhere to facility rules and safety regulations.
Must be able to carry, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar working equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role supporting eCommerce/Marketing functions, preferably for a high‑growth DTC business.
