About the Position The Section of Pediatric Clinical Genetics invites applications for
Clinical Pediatric Geneticist . Qualified candidates must have completed an approved clinical genetics fellowship and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric/Clinical Genetics and/or Metabolic Genetics by the American College of Medical Genetics. Candidates will be expected to travel to outreach clinics as needed and supervise medical students and residents. This role offers a faculty appointment in Rush Medical College.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric genetics services, including direct patient care.
Supervise medical students and residents and contribute to education.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and serve in general and subspecialty clinics.
Participate in clinical research opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric/Clinical Genetics and/or Metabolic Genetics by the American College of Medical Genetics.
Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of Illinois.
Strong commitment to patient care, education, and clinical medicine.
Excellent clinical skills, teaching interest, and ability to work well with a small, motivated team.
Compensation Pay Range: $195,000 – $285,000 Salary and academic rank to be commensurate with experience.
Benefits Competitive total compensation including base pay, benefits, and incentive programs. Additional compensation may include sign‑on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances.
