We’re looking for a seasoned geotechnical engineer to join our dedicated team in Seattle, Washington.
Location Seattle, Washington
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and lead challenging site characterization programs.
Complete geotechnical engineering analyses for site development, buildings, bridges, landslides, and roads.
Manage, mentor, and train field staff to ensure quality data collection, technical growth, and adherence to safety and project standards.
Collaborate closely with civil, structural, and environmental teams to develop integrated, multidisciplinary solutions for clients.
Develop a professional presence in the regional community through participation in professional organizations, client interaction, and client development.
Qualifications
B.S. in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis.
M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis (preferred).
6+ years of professional geotechnical engineering experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with the ability to obtain Washington licensure within 12 months.
Results‑oriented, flexible, and creative.
Experience with soil and rock classification, field exploration procedures and methods, earthwork and pavement construction observation, nuclear density testing, and laboratory testing procedures.
