Our client, a top-tier management consulting company, is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a leading Propane Distribution organization.
The ideal candidate would be an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, and system integration across hybrid environments. This role requires strategic vision, hands‑on technical depth, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals in the energy and utilities domain.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Lead the
enterprise architecture roadmap , ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT initiatives.
Oversee
architecture governance , standards, and decision‑making for all technology programs.
Design and implement
hybrid cloud solutions (Azure and AWS)
integrating on‑prem systems.
Drive
digital transformation and modernization
of legacy systems using containerization, microservices, and API‑first principles.
Manage
integration across SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Ariba, Right Angle, and Ortec , ensuring seamless data and process flow.
Develop and execute
middleware strategies
leveraging
SAP BTP and SAP PI/PO
for enterprise integration.
Ensure
architecture compliance
with regulatory, security, and industry standards within the energy/distribution domain.
Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business goals into actionable architecture blueprints.
Partner with IT and business teams to balance innovation, performance, and cost efficiency.
Establish
KPIs and metrics
to measure architecture maturity, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals.
Provide
technical leadership and mentorship
to cross‑functional technology teams.
Champion
cloud migration initiatives , optimizing performance, resilience, and cost‑effectiveness.
Lead
architecture review boards and governance forums , communicating effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
5+ years in a senior architecture leadership capacity within energy, utilities, or distribution industries.
Proven expertise in
SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP)
and Microsoft Dynamics CRM architecture.
Hands‑on experience with
SAP BTP, PI/PO , and
middleware integration platforms .
Strong background in
Azure and AWS cloud architecture , hybrid models, and migration strategy.
Experience with
supply chain and logistics platforms
such as
Right Angle
and
Ortec .
Deep understanding of
enterprise integration patterns , API management, and security best practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
