Remote – Poland / US overlap hours required
Employment Type: Hourly Rate Range (B2B): 140 – 170 PLN/h
About the Role We’re seeking a
Senior Full Stack Java Developer
to join a distributed engineering team delivering modern web applications for a US-based enterprise client. You will work on high-performance backend services and sleek, responsive UIs using a modern Java/Spring and React/TypeScript stack.
You’ll be part of a product-focused agile team, responsible for delivering scalable features from conception to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using
Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Build and optimize frontend applications using
React, TypeScript, and Redux
Integrate REST APIs and ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend
Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, and other developers in agile sprints
Write clean, tested, and maintainable code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and team retrospectives
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot preferred)
Strong experience with
React
and
TypeScript
Solid understanding of
RESTful APIs , JSON, and web architecture
Experience with
SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
and JPA/Hibernate
Familiarity with
unit testing ,
CI/CD pipelines , and Git workflows
Ability to work independently in distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Kafka ,
Docker , or
Kubernetes
Exposure to
AWS
or other cloud platforms
Previous work with
microservices architecture
Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence
Client Industry:
Enterprise Software (SaaS, Finance or Operations domain)
Team:
International, Agile teams with regular sprint ceremonies
Timezone Flexibility:
Must overlap at least 4 hours with US EST
