Job Description We are seeking a talented Engineer II - Structural Engineer to join our Charlotte, NC office in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Revit and 4-8 years of overall structural engineering experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects, collaborating with a team of passionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design: Develop detailed structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and other projects using Revit and other engineering tools.

Modeling and Drafting: Create and manage 3D models in Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Analysis and Calculations: Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.

Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 4-8 years of structural engineering experience.

Revit Expertise: Extensive experience with Revit, including modeling, drafting, and collaboration workflows.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, or similar) and AutoCAD.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and engineering principles.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem‑Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification.

Experience working on large‑scale commercial or infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.

Experience with hybrid work environments and collaboration tools.

Security Clearance Requirement None. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.

Salary Range $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
