Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Inhouse Tax Accounting and Finance Specialist Recruiter servicing the US market. Join a purpose-driven organization with a
160-year legacy , solid financial footing, and Fortune 500 presence. This role places you at the heart of tax accounting and compliance operations—working cross-functionally to shape enterprise-wide strategy and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee
ASC 740 provision and reporting , including uncertain tax position assessments and financial statement disclosures
Manage
U.S. federal and state tax compliance , coordinating closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders
Drive quarterly tax forecasting, effective tax rate analysis, and cash tax projections
Partner with accounting, finance, treasury, and business teams to support initiatives with tax insights
Implement
digitized workflows , process improvements, and best practices across tax provision and compliance systems
Provide mentorship to junior team members and shape technical tax guidance
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with
6+ years
of progressive tax experience (Big 4 + corporate)
Deep expertise in
ASC 740 , federal/state compliance, and international tax
Life insurance tax experience or familiarity with
SSAP 101
is a plus
Skilled in Excel and tax technologies (e.g. Longview, OneSource); knowledge of Alteryx/Power BI is a bonus
Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and project management skills
