We are seeking a skilled API Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Java, Maven, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud, along with experience in integrating external APIs. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems that support our applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Maven, and Spring Boot.
Develop and consume SOAP and REST APIs supporting various formats such as XML and JSON.
Integrate external APIs to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless data exchange.
Perform integration middleware and Enterprise Service Bus tasks as required.
Optimize backend performance for speed and scalability, ensuring compatibility across systems.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure system stability and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and API integration.
Requirements
Minimum of 8+ years of proven experience as a Backend/API Developer or similar role.
Strong portfolio of backend systems developed using Java, Maven, Spring Boot, and React JS.
Proficiency in Java programming language, Maven build automation, Spring Boot framework, and React JS.
Experience with integrating external APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in an agile development environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
