Location: Charlotte, NC – 5 days onsite.
Contract to hire – W2.
Job Summary: DevOps Engineer to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and enhance system reliability for IT projects. The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and collaboration with developers and data teams.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Provision and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Deploy containerized applications via Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestrate microservices.
Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and ensure security through scanning tools.
Required Skills
Expertise in Linux/Unix, scripting (Bash, Python), and version control (Git).
Proficiency in cloud services, Kubernetes, and automation tools like Puppet/Chef.
Strong knowledge of networking, security best practices, and agile methodologies.
