Workday Data Conversion Lead – Guidehouse Guidehouse is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead for full platform implementations. The person will provide expertise in requirements gathering, design, and implementation of customer data conversion processes.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing build timelines and collaborating with the project management team on tenant management.

Plan and execute comprehensive configuration migration throughout deployment using Workday delivered toolset.

Serve as primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems and spreadsheets into the Workday CloudHCM & Financials system.

Convert data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools.

Create ETL scripts to transform and load data in preparation to load to Workday.

Lead in the validation of data loaded into Workday.

Assist clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues, and overall responsibility over conversion activities on the project.

Communicate key information to project and client leadership.

Collaborate with client counterpart to successfully deliver on shared objectives.

Identify and escalates risks, developing alternative technical and functional approaches as necessary.

Lead identification of process improvements and changes to methodology based on project experience.

Maintain an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance.

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of consulting or industry experience, or a master’s degree with a minimum of two years of consulting or industry experience; or no degree with a minimum of eight years of consulting or industry experience.

Minimum of two full‑cycle Workday implementations in a Data Conversion Lead role.

Minimum of two years of data conversion experience including strong ETL, XML, and SQL capabilities.

Active Workday Certification through a Workday Partner.

25 % travel balanced with work‑from‑home and/or Guidehouse office.

Nice to Have

Experience working in Federal Government Human Capital Management environments.

Proficiency in Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.

Strong reporting, analytics, and BI experience.

Salary The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00–$216,000.00.

Travel Up to 25 % travel required.

Clearance Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
