Position Overview
Long‑term contract through EOY. 60 days. 8–10 hr shift. No in‑house call, no weekends, no weeknights. OT not expected but offered.

Responsibilities
Pre‑anesthetic evaluation: prepare health history, conduct physical exam, request diagnostic studies, select, obtain, order, and administer pre‑anesthetic medications.
Obtain informed consent for anesthesia, induction, maintenance, and emergence.
Preoperative and intraoperative care: obtain, prepare, and use equipment, monitors, supplies, drugs; perform safety checks.
Select, obtain, or administer anesthetics and adjunct drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, and blood products.
Airway management, insert peripheral venous catheters, manage Bier blocks.
Provide non‑invasive monitoring modalities.
Evaluate patient response during emergence, institute treatment to ensure stability during transfer.
Provide post‑anesthesia follow‑up evaluation of patient response and surgical experience.
Initiate and administer respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation in the post‑anesthesia period.
Initiate and administer pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system during the post‑anesthetic period.
