About the Opportunity
Total outpatient
Health system consists of a 305-bed hospital and a Medical Group with 40+ office locations
The hospital is a primary teaching site for Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
Join an innovative and trailblazing program for treating pediatric patients in emotional and behavioral crisis
Opening one of the first pediatric Emergency Psychiatry Assessment, Treatment, and Healing (EmPATH) units in the nation, which will be complemented by a short-term 12-week outpatient crisis stabilization program
This role will be 50% EmPATH unit-based and 50% outpatient crisis stabilization office-based
The psychiatrist will round on the EmPATH unit weekday mornings and then spend afternoons providing outpatient follow-up care to patients recently discharged from EmPATH
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
No required call or weekend shifts
Compensation and Benefits
