About The Role Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing team. We are a community-focused, outpatient mental health group serving diverse and underserved populations. Our interdisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Therapists, all committed to helping patients achieve meaningful and lasting improvement in their lives. Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations (in-person and via telehealth).
Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.
Develop individualized, integrated treatment plans with the care team.
Opportunities to participate in interventional psychiatry service and clinical research pipelines.
Supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (NPs, PAs, therapists).
Participate in crisis intervention and emergency care as needed.
Engage with community agencies and resources to support patient care.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment, and wellness practices.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Completion of Psychiatry Residency Program.
Current and valid California medical license, NPI, and DEA registration.
Board Certification (preferred) / Board Eligible.
Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of independent psychiatric experience (preferred).
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and community-based psychiatry.
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Preferences for the following subspecialization/experience: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine, Clinical Research, or Interventional Psychiatry.
