Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma, Washington is seeking a Veterinary Anesthesiologist who is excited to build and shape a high-quality anesthesia program within a collaborative specialty hospital. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching and elevating LVTs, supporting LVTs in their pursuit of a VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia, and aiding in building an anesthesia service. You’ll join a thriving collegial team that includes a cardiologist performing interventional procedures, surgeons tackling complex surgical cases, and a robust group of three neurologists and four internists who regularly perform advanced procedures. Responsibilities

Build and shape a high-quality anesthesia program within a collaborative specialty hospital. Teach and elevate veterinary technicians, supporting LVTs in their pursuit of a VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia. Aid in building and developing the anesthesia service and related procedures. Collaborate with specialists in Oncology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Neurology and Nutrition, and contribute to a 24/7 emergency team. Facility and Team

The team includes specialists across multiple disciplines and a complement of 24/7 emergency doctors who work together to provide the best environment for our clients, patients, and staff.
