Job Description Summary
Performs complex medical procedures to treat injuries, diseases, and deformities using surgical instruments and techniques.
Essential Functions
Diagnoses patient's injuries or illnesses and determines appropriate surgical procedures.
Examines patient's medical history, allergies, and current medications to avoid potential complications during surgery.
Monitors patient's vital signs during surgery and adjusts anesthesia as necessary.
Performs surgical procedures with precision and accuracy, using sterile techniques and specialized tools.
Prescribes post-operative care and medication to ensure proper healing and pain management.
Collaborates with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of care for patients.

Licensure Requirement Ohio Medical License, required.
Certifications Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery, required.
Experience ACGME accredited fellowship, required.
