The Associate Media Director proactively offers industry updates, performance insights, and opportunities to leadership and clients.
Responsibilities include overseeing flawless execution of media campaigns, developing junior team skill sets, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Mediahub, Mediabrands, and specialty partners. Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day operations of client media plans and budget details, ensuring accurate, timely media authorizations prior to buys. Demonstrate understanding of client business/category and build mid‑level client relationships as a business partner and thought leader. Coordinate collaboration, schedule status meetings and business updates with partnership and specialty teams. Support Group Director with monthly investment and forecast tracking, and oversee inventory, billing and invoice discrepancies. Partner with local investments and analytics teams to develop partner list, RFP details and evaluation prior to client recommendations. Build and present media plan recommendations, recaps and thought leadership. Partner with analytics team to implement measurement objectives and taxonomy. Oversee flawless execution of media campaigns: implementation, QA, monitoring/optimizing, and insightful reporting. Create and provide media authorizations and channel notifications. Utilize IGNITE planning strategy process and develop workback schedules and content to deliver on media brief deliverables. Partner with insights and audience science teams to develop audiences, profiles, and strategies. Identify great work, support team with writing, presenting, and providing data and assets to create case studies that win awards and celebrate the work. People & Culture
Participate in a diverse, inclusive, creative culture and collaborate with peer group to share work and inspire junior team members. Facilitate regular 1:1s with direct reports to ensure feedback can be elevated and additional context and education can be provided. Elevate client work within the agency and partner with Growth and Comms teams to submit for awards and recognition. Actively participate in DEIB trainings, events, ERGs, and ensure recruiting and management practices are inclusive and unbiased. Qualifications – Required Skills
5‑7 years of experience building strong client relationships and partnering on media strategy. Proven expertise in at least three media channels, with additional cross‑channel planning acumen (Video, Audio, Digital, Social, Retail, Print, OOH, etc.). Ability to travel occasionally to supported markets or client events. Qualifications – Desired Skills
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, maintain high attention to detail, and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong analytical and mathematical abilities. Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of media planning tools (DCM, Prisma, etc.). We See You
