Job Summary And Responsibilities Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is growing our Gastroenterology network to provide outstanding care to the patients we serve in the beautiful town of Lufkin. Lufkin is a lively, growing, and energetic community with many amenities. We are looking for an energetic physician to join a well established practice with the potential to expand further. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Job Highlights

Potential option to invest and partner in joint venture ambulatory surgery center.

Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.

Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials.

Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.

Opportunity to engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.

Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health.

Job Requirements

MD/DO Degree

Completed ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship

Active, unrestricted Texas license or the ability to obtain prior to employment

American Board Certification and BLS (active)

Pay Range $234.99 - $351.70 /hour
