Job Details The APP practices independently and/or in collaboration with the physician(s) in clinic, and in accordance with established protocols, to provide cost‑effective, quality care that is individualized and developmentally appropriate. The APP performs physical assessments/examinations; develops diagnoses; formulates, initiates, reinforces plans of care and/or treatments for resolution of the clinical problem(s) or to maintain health. The APP monitors and evaluates the plan of care, makes revisions as needed, or initiates consultations/referrals when appropriate. The APP has advanced education and professional training, specializing in the care of patients from birth to 21 years of age.
Position can be PA or NP.
Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree – Nurse Practitioner Program. 3‑4 years specializing in nursing. NP licensure in the State of Ohio.
Master of Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent. Physician Assistant Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
