6:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. (10 h) – must include a Friday (other nights flexible)
7:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. (12 h) – must include a Friday (all other nights flexible)
Job Summary Under the general direction of the manager, the incumbent prepares, sets up and operates CT scanners following specific physician orders. The technologist produces detailed computer‑generated scans for diagnostic and interventional purposes, performs patient care tasks such as assisting patients onto the scanner, verifying identification, entering patient information into the system, and ensuring files are archived and transmitted to PACS/RIS. The role requires maintaining facility order, staying abreast of outpatient procedures and policies, and engaging in additional duties as assigned. The technologist must be competent in all routine outpatient CT exams.
Qualifications
Certificate/Diploma in Radiologic Science required; Associate’s preferred
ARRT or NMTCB Registry required
State of Massachusetts license required
CT Registry required within 1 year
BLS certification required within 90 days
