About the Position Jackson HealthPros is a leading healthcare staffing company focused on delivering skilled professionals to hospitals and educational institutions nationwide. This assignment places you in a hospital setting where you will assist physicians and nurses during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and providing in‑room support.
Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
Sterilize and store surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Assist surgeons and nurses throughout the operation.
Maintain an organized and sterile environment in the OR.
Minimum Requirements
Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
BLS Certification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a certified OR tech/Surgical Technician.
For CVOR positions, a minimum of 2 years as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
