Job Summary

The General Manager will have full Profit & Loss accountability and will develop and deliver a strategy to maximize operating profit for the Storm Door Division. This role leads an organization comprised of over 550 employees across three facilities and a divisional office based in Des Moines, IA. The role leads a cross‑functional organization including Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and R&D while championing a culture of cost transformation, operational excellence, and safety. The successful candidate will foster and develop a high‑performing team committed to continuous improvement and delivering strong business results. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a business unit strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability targets. Identify new market opportunities and execute plans to capitalize on them. People Leadership: Lead a cross‑functional team and delegate significant responsibilities and decision‑making authority to team members. Enable team success by removing barriers and providing resources. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team. Execute succession plans and individual development plans to elevate talent in support of growth initiatives. Financial Performance: Manage the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the business unit meets its financial goals. Operational Management: Direct operations using KPIs, processes, and standards to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by empowering team members to enhance safety, customer satisfaction, efficiency, effectiveness, and financial results. Product Portfolio Management: Direct lifecycle management, new product development, and innovation to meet market demands. Community Engagement: Represent Andersen Windows within the Des Moines business community, including board participation and philanthropic initiatives. Qualifications

Senior Business Leadership: Proven track record of value creation as a P&L leader at a senior level. Experience driving culture changes in large organizations. Strategic Vision: Skilled in crafting and executing strategic growth initiatives that set new industry standards and customer expectations. Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Deep appreciation and understanding of lean operating principles and a demonstrated track record of success in continuous improvement. Relationship and Influence: Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Pay Range: Variable incentives eligible. Pay is based on several factors including work experience, education, certifications, etc. Pay Range
