Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Base Pay:
$200,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy, planning and operations for a privately held apparel company. This role partners closely with the executive team and ownership to guide accounting, budgeting, risk management, audits, and compliance, while providing insight to drive long-term growth and profitability.
APPAREL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership across all company operations
Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit activities
Track and analyze cash flow, financial performance, and key business metrics
Develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans in partnership with senior management
Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and updates to leadership and the Board
Manage corporate banking relationships, credit facilities, and debt compliance
Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards while optimizing financial controls
Collaborate with operations and IT to align financial systems and business goals
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
CPA or CPA track/inactive preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in senior financial or accounting leadership roles
Six (6) + years’ experience within the apparel industry is a
MUST
Proven success in strategic financial planning, audit oversight, and risk management
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with manufacturing and direct-to-consumer ERP systems
