Intelligent Automation Solution Architect w/Secret Clearance
A3 Consulting LLC is looking to hire an Intelligent Automation Solution Architect that will be responsible for designing, governing, and overseeing the delivery of enterprise‑grade UiPath automation solutions with a strong emphasis on Document Understanding (DU), intelligent document processing, and advanced AI/ML‑enabled automation. This role ensures automations are architected for scalability, security, audit readiness, and long‑term sustainability across multi‑tenant, multi‑system federal environments. Base Pay Range $170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
In this job you will
Architect, design, and oversee end‑to‑end UiPath automation solutions, including attended, unattended, transactional, and queue‑based workflows.
Lead Solution Design Document (SDD) creation, architecture diagrams, and all required technical artifacts supporting automation delivery.
Design and implement UiPath Document Understanding workflows including taxonomy, classification, extraction, ML model integration, confidence tuning, and validation routing.
Select, configure, and optimize ML extraction models and learning loops to support DU continuous improvement.
Integrate UiPath solutions with systems such as SAP/ERP, databases, APIs, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
Establish reusable frameworks for exception handling, queue management, logging, configuration, and audit traceability.
Conduct code reviews, architectural reviews, and solution compliance checks to ensure alignment with UiPath and federal standards.
Partner with developers, infrastructure engineers, Business Analysts, and UiPath representatives to ensure high‑quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Support deployment pipelines across DEV → TEST → PROD and ensure environment readiness, tenant segregation, and secure access models.
Provide guidance and oversight to Citizen Developers and professional developers to elevate capability and ensure adherence to best practices.
Participate in requirements sessions, feasibility assessments, and discovery workshops to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
Document architecture, integration points, technical constraints, and sustainment considerations for long‑term maintainability.
Participate in customer meetings to provide architectural insight and technical guidance.
Assist with training, coaching, and internal capability development as needed.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in automation delivery, including UiPath architecture, required.
Deep experience with UiPath Studio, StudioX, Orchestrator, and Document Understanding, including taxonomy design, OCR configuration, and ML skill integration.
Demonstrated experience designing scalable enterprise automations and reusable architectural frameworks.
Strong understanding of attended/unattended orchestration, queue processing, exception modeling, and audit‑ready logging.
Experience with ML Extractors, Intelligent Keyword Classifier, Form Extractor, Validation Station, and DU confidence‑based workflows.
Familiarity with security models, RBAC, Zero Trust principles, and federal compliance requirements.
Experience integrating UiPath with databases (SQL/Oracle), REST APIs, ERPs, and enterprise systems.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
Preferred certifications: UiPath Solution Architect Professional, UiPath Document Understanding Specialist, UiPath Infrastructure Engineer Professional.
Experience working in DoD or federal environments, including multi‑tenant or enclave deployments.
Occasional travel may be required to support client needs, onsite development, or technical workshops.

The salary range of this position is $170,000 - $200,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
