Job Description We are seeking an experienced Tanium Engineer III to join our Cybersecurity Endpoint Management team. This role focuses on assisting in the design, implementation, and optimization of the Tanium platform and its capabilities to deliver real‑time visibility, control, and security across global endpoints. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Endpoint Management, you will serve as a subject‑matter expert for Tanium solution areas, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and support.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain endpoint management platforms to ensure reliable patching, software deployment, and configuration compliance.

Lead the deployment and operational support of endpoint security tools.

Develop and automate workflows and scripts to improve endpoint management processes.

Monitor endpoint health and security posture, responding to incidents and escalations as needed.

Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT operations and infrastructure teams to align endpoint management with organizational goals.

Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and provide expert guidance to junior engineers and analysts.

Participate in designing scalable and sustainable endpoint management strategies.

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for endpoint management tasks.

Support testing and validation of patches and software deployments before wide release.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in endpoint management, system administration, or related IT roles.

Hands‑on experience with the Tanium platform in enterprise environments.

Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.

Experience with asset lifecycle management, patch management, and software deployment.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Solid understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to document technical processes clearly.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with cloud endpoint management solutions and hybrid environments.

Knowledge of vulnerability management.

Certifications such as Tanium Certified Operator (TCO), Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA), CompTIA Security+, or similar.

Salary Range The expected salary range for this role is $138,207.00 – $172,758.00 per year. This range may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
