Position Overview
Labor Category: Data Scientist | Position Title: Data Scientist | Position Level: Level 1 – Subject Matter Expert | Salary: Up to $230,000.00 per year | Core Hours: 9am to 4pm | Location: McLean VA | Clearance: Top Secret (TS/SCI) with Polygraph | Due date: 12/21/2025 (position closes after)
Responsibilities The Data Scientist will provide highly technical and in-depth data engineering support to the Customer. Responsibilities include designing and building data infrastructure, developing data pipelines, transforming and preparing data, ensuring data quality and security, and monitoring and optimizing systems.
Qualifications
Experience with data engineering, including building data infrastructure, pipelines, data transformation, and quality.
Extensive experience with Python and AWS.
Experience with SQL and queries across multiple data sources (PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS, etc.).
Experience with NiFi, Git, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jupyter Notebooks, NLP, AI, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
Minimum 0-2 years’ experience up to 16+ years, categorized as Developmental, Full Performance, Senior, Expert, SME.
Optional Requirements
Experience with SQL, NiFi, Git, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jupyter Notebooks, NLP, AI, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik.
