Position Responsibilities
Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.
Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.
Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
Analyzes functional and physical input to ensure development of complete integrated design.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
9+ years of wire design experience.
5+ years of experience on aerospace programs.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience with WIRS and CADDStation.
7+ years of experience on Commercial Airplanes or Commercial Derivatives.
Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital wire design tool.
Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Work Hours & Union Work is for 1st shift. This is a Union Represented Position.

Pay Range Summary Pay Range Senior: $138,550 - $187,450 Summary Pay Range Expert: $165,750 - $224,250
