The
Finance & Strategy Manager
will serve as a key partner to executive leadership—driving financial insights, operational effectiveness, and strategic clarity across the organization. This role combines analytical rigor, business judgment, and cross‑functional influence. The ideal candidate can move fluidly between building robust financial models, diagnosing operational issues, and shaping high‑level strategic priorities. What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary Business Operations partner to the
CMO and the Marketing organization , acting as a strategic advisor across planning, performance, and operational execution. Lead the
planning and goal‑setting process
for Marketing‑driven pipeline, ROI, and key funnel metrics—ensuring alignment with the company’s broader topline and growth objectives. Generate actionable insights on the performance of
acquisition channels, lifecycle programs, and funnel dynamics , informing investment decisions and tactical optimization. Own and execute
critical change initiatives
within Marketing that enable the team to operate effectively at the next stage of scale. Build operational rigor, streamline reporting, and help drive cross‑functional clarity across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and GTM leadership. What You Bring
8–10+ years of progressive experience
in high‑growth environments. You likely come from a Growth, Strategic Finance, BizOps, or similarly analytical role at a fast‑scaling startup, with earlier experience in investment banking, management consulting, or investing. Experience partnering closely with
data‑driven Growth or Marketing teams
is a strong plus. Exceptional analytical horsepower
with mastery of modeling and data analysis. You can translate complex business questions into structured models and have the toolkit to independently uncover insights from data.
Fluency in SQL, database concepts, and modern BI tools
is required. Meticulous attention to detail
paired with strong strategic judgment. You ensure precision in your work, but you also know how to apply an 80/20 mindset—quickly identifying what truly matters and when something passes the “smell test.” A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
You thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments and can create structure, prioritize effectively, and pivot seamlessly as circumstances shift. Excellent communication and partnership skills.
