HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive services, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention.

The Treasure Island Residential Step Down (RSD) services are available to beneficiaries who are stepping down from inpatient/residential substance use disorder treatment. Clients must be concurrently in treatment, specifically in outpatient (OP), intensive outpatient (IOP), Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), or outpatient (aka Ambulatory) Withdrawal Management (OP‑WM) settings. RSD provides a temporary, drug and alcohol‑free environment to residents that are actively engaged in outpatient treatment for medically necessary SUD provided to the client off‑site.

Key Responsibilities Client Services

Welcomes and assists clients with navigating the building.

Provides excellent customer service and addresses any immediate needs of patients.

Assists patients with required paperwork for proper enrollment in services.

Coordinates transportation for patients in residential programs.

Individual Responsibilities

Provides direct services such as intakes, assessment, crisis intervention, and case management as needed.

Responsible for retention and completion of clients, and facilitates individual coaching sessions with each caseload client.

Provides learning experience opportunities and offers support to assist clients in meeting long‑term recovery goals.

Proactively links clients to internal and external resources based on recovery needs and follows up on progress/status.

Performs house runs to ensure accountability and safety of all clients and the facility.

Performs crisis intervention and communicates with the treatment team as unforeseen situations arise.

Documents client updates and incidents in the facility log daily, performs CPR and First Aid, administers Narcan as needed, and works weekends and holidays as required.

Treatment Setting Responsibilities

Facilitates community meetings and ensures compliance with facility rules.

Documents all client updates and facility incidents daily in the facility log.

Performs periodic house runs to maintain safety and security of the facility.

When assigned at the Health and Wellness office, documents and accurately distributes client money, ensures medications are securely stored and properly accounted for, and holds facility keys and floater cellular phones.

Accompanies clients to off‑site appointments related to their recovery.

Attends required training and meetings as assigned by facility manager.

Plans and facilitates client celebrations and special events.

Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Documentation Responsibilities

Collaborates with clients and available resources to develop transition plans, progress notes, and appropriate updates supporting client health and recovery needs.

Properly documents all individual encounters and completes discharge paperwork/process and required agency assessments in a timely manner.

Maintains accurate records by inputting documentation into various electronic systems for all clients in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360 guidelines.

Completes accountability report weekly and collaborates with treatment providers to assist clients in achieving program completion.

Safety Responsibilities

Remains alert and awake during the entire shift.

Ensures a safe and orderly environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

Directs and deflects traffic; de‑escalates tense, high‑pressure, and emotionally charged situations; and fosters a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.

Maintains positive, respectful, non‑confrontational behaviors at all times.

Makes regular rounds to monitor entrances, exits, offices, common areas, and building perimeters.

Ensures a welcoming environment by clearing areas of crowds, debris, and out‑of‑place items.

Works collaboratively with service providers and administrative staff to maintain an orderly environment.

Performs CPR and First Aid as needed; may work weekends and holidays as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education, Certification, and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

First Aid and CPR certification.

A valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self‑sufficiency.

A Drug and Alcohol Registration/Certification recognized by DHCS is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Knowledge

Knowledge of co‑occurring disorders and trauma‑informed treatment.

Knowledge of clinical documentation (treatment plans, progress notes, etc.).

Preferably bilingual in San Francisco threshold languages.

Knowledge of gender‑responsive, trauma‑informed, and co‑occurring treatment.

Must complete background check and livescan clearance. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
