The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Ochsner Childrens Hospital is seeking a board eligible/board certified general pediatric gastroenterologist to join its pediatric multi-specialty practice in New Orleans, LA. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a comprehensive pediatric digestive care program within Ochsner Healths regional health system, the largest not-for-profit academic health system in the Gulf South.
The Section, currently 8 physicians, offers pediatric advanced endoscopy and ERCP, pancreatology, hepatology and liver transplantation, intestinal rehabilitation, neurogastroenterology & motility, and comprehensive programs in aerodigestive disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, pediatric feeding & swallowing disorders, and colorectal malformations.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with the full range of pediatric digestive disorders on our New Orleans campus and at satellite clinics.
Perform gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Teaching and Research
Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students.
Clinical and translational research opportunities abound for qualified candidates.
Academic appointment commensurate with experience.
