HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE (FM or IM) Physician to join our Primary Care team in Decatur, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Decatur is home to Millikin University, and the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra. Decatur is a quick drive from Champaign and Bloomington, and also has its own airport making travel extremely easy. Decatur also has its own lake, which allows a wide variety of different boats access to the lake, including small sailboats. Decatur has public and private schools, and many arts related and athletic activities with its many public programs and recreational areas.

Practice Highlights

Well established, growing practice with great community support

100% Outpatient Practice

Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week

Minimal call with group shared call

Call is phone call only, no requirement to be called in.

No holidays or weekends

Strong support staff provided

EPIC EMR

Position Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Compensation & Benefits Package

2 year base guarantee

Sign-On bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance all available

Residency stipends available for those still finishing residency

20 days off + 6 holidays per year

CME Reimbursement + days available per fiscal year

Opportunities to earn productivity and quality bonuses

Pay range: $300,000-$399,406

Education Qualifications

Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.

Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.

Must be board certified or board eligible.
