Facility Information No. of Beds in Department: 35 ED beds Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center EMR System: Meditech & Dragon Specialty Backup Available: APPs work between Main ED & Fast Track Support Staff Available: APPs, Residents (moonlighting) Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

Privileges & Compliance Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Compensation & Benefits Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered

Required Procedures General emergency medicine procedures. 64‑Slice CT available

Job Requirements

Licenses: Missouri license required

Board: BE/BC in EM, FP, or IM (must have 3 years ER experience); ABEM preferred

DEA: Required

Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (required); PALS preferred

Experience: Minimum 3 years ER experience for non‑EM boarded physicians

Other Qualifications: Experience with Meditech & Dragon preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide emergency department coverage

Participate in 12‑hour shifts across flexible schedule

Coordinate with APPs between Main ED and Fast Track

Evaluate and manage a diverse patient population

Accept moonlighting residents for coverage support

Accurately document all care in EMR
