What You’ll Do
Define and advise on outsourcing strategies and vendor relationships, including IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing.
Serve as a delivery leader on engagements of moderate-to-high complexity and scale, communicating with client sponsors directly without oversight.
Work with clients to develop detailed technical/operational requirements, service level agreements, pricing strategies and approaches, and writing RFP documents.
Evaluate vendor proposals from a technical, operational, pricing/financial, and contractual perspective.
Support clients through the contract negotiation process by participating in contract negotiation sessions.
Oversee engagement scope, budget, deliverables, profitability, work management and reporting, change management, vendor management, and team development.
Achieve business development goals primarily through building networks with internal partners, educating channel partners on ES&E offerings, farming opportunities, and scoping projects/proposals.
Originate and create methodologies, project assets and tools, and ensure maintenance of those assets.
Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.
Provide quality assurance review on junior team members’ approaches and deliverables.
Actively engage in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting campus and experienced new hire consultants.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
8+ years of relevant outsourcing advisory experience and at least 2-3 years in a business consulting environment.
Expert program manager with extensive experience managing outsourcing advisory engagements including developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, budget management, issue and risk management, and presenting deliverables.
People management experience, and a passion for developing and coaching more junior team members.
Business development experience including farming leads and assisting in managing the sales process.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder‑ready deliverables.
Strong data visualization and analysis skills; comfortable using tools like Excel to analyze data and present key insights in a compelling way.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare (payer/provider), Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, and/or Private Equity.

New York City or San Francisco – $212,600—$250,100 USD
